We consider Diploma in Banking & Finance as the most preferred qualification for entry into the Banks. It can be seen in the below scanned advertisement that appeared in The Times of India - Ascent Page that banks have already begun advertising Diploma in Banking & Finance as a prerequisite for entry into the Bank:-

Educational Qualification:

AND
A Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduation Level
