INDUSTRY RECOGNITION

We consider Diploma in Banking & Finance as the most preferred qualification for entry into the Banks. It can be seen in the below scanned advertisement that appeared in The Times of India - Ascent Page that banks have already begun advertising Diploma in Banking & Finance as a prerequisite for entry into the Bank:-



Union Bank of India, a major Public Sector Bank has advertised for the post of POs and made Diploma in Banking & Finance as desirable qualification for pre-entry level professionals as can be seen below :

Educational Qualification:

  1. Any Graduate Degree with 55% marks (50% marks for Reserved Category candidates) from a UGC recognised / AICTE Accredited University / Institution;

Preference will be given to those having passed the Diploma in Banking & Finance Examination from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF);

AND

  1. A Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduation Level
