Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, in
collaboration, with Sa-dhan (Association of Community Development Financial
Institutions) launched a Diploma in Microfinance on 2nd April 2008. The Diploma
was launched by Shri. Pawan Kumar Bansal, Honourable Minister of State for
Finance in New Delhi. The Diploma is a two-paper exam and is open to all
desirous of making a career in microfinance. The first exam will be held in
December, 2008 and the enrolment will begin from June, 2008.
