Advanced Management Programme (AMP) 
IIBF Announces the Launch of its 8th AMP from July 2019

IIBF conducts Advanced Management Programme (AMP), a management course for working Officers and Executives from the Banking / Financial Sector. The Sessions are conducted, principally at IIBF's Leadership Centre at Kurla, Mumbai and are held on weekends / Bank Holidays.


  • The course is scheduled to commence from July 2019.

The programme covers the entire spectrum of Banking / Financial Management subjects and, currently, consists of the following:

  • Principles & Practices of Management
  • Macro-Economics
  • Organisational Development & Organisational Behaviour
  • Strategic and Change Management and Integrated Marketing Management in Banks
  • Banking Resources and Products
  • Impacts of Business Laws and Regulations on Banking
  • Information Technology in Banking
  • Data Management and MIS in Banks and Quantitative Techniques for Managers
  • Business Analytics
  • Credit Management and Financial Analysis
  • Credit Monitoring and Recovery Management
  • Leadership in Banking
  • International Banking and Foreign Exchange Markets
  • Treasury Management
  • Corporate Banking, Financial Advisory and Merchant Banking Services
  • Investment Banking, Valuations for Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuation of firms & Venture Capital
  • Investment Analysis and Derivatives
  • Integrated Risk Management in Banks
  • Business Ethics and Corporate Governance

Total course duration: 245 hours


For the upcoming 8th batch of AMP, IIBF has tied up with Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, to conduct a 30-hour Management Development Programme (MDP) covering the first five Management subjects at their campus in Kolkata. The Programme by IIM Calcutta will form an integral part of the AMP.


It may be noted here that since the AMP sessions are held on weekends / Bank holidays at IIBF’s Leadership Centre at Kurla, Mumbai (apart from the MDP at IIM Calcutta),
only Mumbai-based applicants will be considered for enrolment.
