The department offers customized programs tailored to the specific needs of banks and financial institutions. These programs are designed to address the unique requirements and challenges faced by different organizations in the industry.
To strengthen Training Department, IIBF created four separate Professional Development Centre in West Zone, East Zone, North Zone & South Zone, who will take care their respective zone by contacting/visiting and ascertaining their customised needs to be converted in offline/online training program.

The Professional Development Centre (PDC), Northeast Zone, Guwahati of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) has been established to cater to the growing training and capacity building needs of bankers and finance professionals across all the regions of India.
The Centre was inaugurated on 6th June 2025 at Guwahati by Shri M. V. Rao, Ex Managing Director & CEO, Central Bank of India, in the presence of Shri Biswa Ketan Das, Chief Executive Officer, IIBF.
