JOB PROFILE:
- Overall in charge of Academic Department, looking after design and development of
course, preparation and revision of syllabus, preparation of courseware, periodical
update of course material, publication of subject updates, etc.
- To look after the work relating to preparation and review of question papers, including
ensuring the correctness and appropriateness of the questions and question banks
for examinations conducted by the Institute.
- Oversee academic aspects of the publication work in respect of IIBF vision, Bank
Quest, Books, Research Reports etc.
- Oversee research functions of the Institute.
- Oversee the organisation of Continuous Professional Development function of the
Institute including arranging talks, memorial lectures and on location seminars.
- Oversee the collaboration arrangements with national and international bodies.
- Promote IIBF courses among Banks/ Financial Institutions
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Essential
- Post Graduate / CA / CMA / CFA and CAIIB (For Banking & Finance professionals)
OR
- Ph. D (Banking/ Finance related topic) (For Academicians)
Desirable
- MBA or equivalent qualification (For both the categories mentioned above).
- Ph. D (Banking/ Finance related topic) (For For Banking & Finance professionals)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Essential
Should have worked as DGM and above cadre in Banks / Financial Institutions for
at least 3 years with proven contributions in academic activities covering variety
of subjects in Banking and Finance.
OR
Should have worked as Associate Professor or Professor or above cadre in a University
/ reputed Academic Institution for at least 5 years with proven contributions in
academic activities covering variety of subjects in the areas of Banking and Finance.
Desirable
- Worked in faculty position/ core academic positon for at least 2 years in Banks
/ Financial Institutions/ Academic Institutions.
- Computer Savvy to work in a virtual environment.
AGE:
The age of the applicant should not be less than 55 years and should not exceed
62 years as on 01/01/2024.
REMUNERATION:
a. The monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (All inclusive). TDS as
applicable, with annual increment of Rs. 10,000/-.
b. In addition to the above, an amount up to a maximum limit of Rs. 50,000/- per
month will be paid, if the selected candidate stays in a leased accommodation at
Mumbai Metropolitan Region (subject to submission of necessary documents) and Rs.
30,000/-per month will be paid towards conveyance charges. However, if the selected
candidate is having a house/ flat in his/ her name or in the name of his/ her spouse
in Mumbai Metropolitan Region or if he/she makes own stay arrangement, 15% of the
monthly remuneration (i.e. Rs. 1,50,000/-) will be paid towards house rent allowance.
The eligible remuneration as stated in clause (a) & (b) will be paid as a consolidated
amount on monthly basis.
LEAVE
15 days leave in a year (Not encashable nor can be carried forward)
CONTRACT PERIOD
- The term of contract will be for three years. It is extendable for a further period
of one year each time up to a maximum of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever
is earlier, depending upon the requirement and performance.
- The contract may be terminated with a notice period of three months from either
side.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for personal interview before the selection
committee at the Institute’s Corporate office, Mumbai. Outstation candidate will
be reimbursed AC-2 tier to and fro train fares (shortest route).
Institute reserves the right to shortlist the candidates for personal interview and its decision will be final in the matter.
